Posted in North Carolina History , Natural Wonders , Nature March 23, 2023 by Carolyn Harmon If you know some older people who might remember, go to them and ask about a missing pot of gold hidden somewhere in the North Carolina mountains. It seems it remains lost in Round Top Mountain, a ccording to a fact-based legend, full of adventure and mystery. Since its disappearance, many better than we, and with the talent and skill to climb and hunt, have failed to bring the hidden treasure home.
